Why we exist
Upon arriving in the U.S., refugees must find work, get kids to school, and do all the things most of us take for granted. A vehicle is vitally important for them to be able to integrate into and become truly productive members of society. Resettlement Agencies provide many services to refugees, but cannot fully meet the transportation needs of finding good used vehicles and training needed for safe operation on American roads. Without a vehicle, employment is limited, making it very difficult to provide for the family.
Rides 4 Refugees Leadership
Founded by retired Honda associates with over 300 years of combined automotive industry experience, we continue to add volunteers with diverse experiences and knowledge.
Rides 4 Refugees Volunteers
We seek volunteers to support various roles to grow the organization to better serve our refugee clients.
A message from our volunteers!

Catherine Irwin
who generously supported our Driver Training Program
"It was such a privilege to have a role in welcoming people into the Columbus community and helping them get access to transportation, which is a key element to them getting settled and on their feet here. Everyone I met through the organization, including those that run it and the community members they serve, was a joy to work with and a reminder what great people there are in the world. I was sad to move away and part with the organization but I look forward to following the impact it continues to have in the future!"
