Rides 4 Refugees is a charitable organization devoted to helping Central Ohio refugees build a self-sufficient life in the U.S. by aiding in their transportation needs.
Hard working refugees who get a helping hand toward vehicle ownership will contribute to our communities and economy. We help them understand the cost of vehicle ownership, identify a vehicle they can afford and then make a match grant towards their purchase. We also provide a one-year limited warranty and AAA membership because we want them to start their vehicle ownership off with confidence and security.
"When I first came to this country, I didn't know the language, the customs or any people. But I was able to learn the language and find friends. Having Rides 4 Refugees help me find a car, was like having two healthy legs... I felt I could go anywhere. I found a job far from my home, but I didn't have a problem with the distance, because I owned a car and could drive safely. Rides 4 Refugees provides the greatest help to people who are in need. When my problems were solved with the help of this group, my life became easier. I know the problems of dozens of other families with children will be solved too. I am very happy that I met this group and found a sense of friendship with these kind people."
